Makeup Revolution Glycolic Essence Spray

By Alexa - July 19, 2020

As you guys know by now, I'm a major Korean skincare fan. They seem to have the most innovative and useful products on the market, and some really insane ideas that the Western market don't take on board as quickly. I find that now trends become global a lot more easily than in the past, so luckily, Makeup Revolution stepped up their game with new skincare launches!

Today I'm reviewing the Glycolic Acid Essence Spray, bought at Boots for £6. I haven't seen this widely reviewed yet, but I've been using it daily for nearly two weeks and just purchased two more from the range.

Right now it's sold out, but they have so many and from various retailers, it's very accessible. They describe this as rich in vitamins and creating a soothing, hydrated base for your face. That's why I use this in the morning, to freshen up my face and create a bit of moisture for my serums to absorb better.

These are all vegan - massive bonus! And they contain a decent amount of glycolic acid, given the affordable price point. This acid is meant to exfoliate and brighten your face by revealing a fresh top layer of skin and smooth out the overall texture. As this is  simple spray, it won't create miracles, but I find it sprays evenly and with a fine mist so it's very easy to use.

This could be great to pack on a long haul flight, and during these hotter months when our skin and sebum production goes a little cray cray. My skin does look a little brighter and more even toned, and I haven't experienced any redness so if essence sprays are something you'd like to try - this one could be a nice addition to your routine.

Have you tried this?

xoxo
