I was lucky enough to receive a Paula's Choice product for my birthday last summer and only just finished using it! I didn't realise how little you need at first so I started using just one pump of the Skin Perfecting BHA Gel. This is a multi-benefit product and I used it during the morning mainly, as a serum base for a thicker moisturiser.
I'm not sure how much this costs as it was a gift, but it is about mid-range and you get 100ml in this product so it will definitely last a long time. For me it was MONTHS, I don't even know how long but I was using it daily for a long time before switching to another product.
BHA is a great exfoliator and product to incorporate daily or weekly to resurface and smooth your skin texture. This specific gel formula was meant to even out your skin tone, smooth and 'blur' imperfections, and reduce signs of ageing.
It's definitely one for all age ranges, and can be a good preventative choice for younger skin (like mine) to prevent wrinkles. I found my breakouts were minimised using this and the salicylic acid definitely helped dry out spots quicker.
It's also described as an exfoliant, so maybe not one for sensitive skin unless you want to use it once a week after a face mask. I didn't notice any redness or irritation so I think my skin reacted really well to this. It also dries quickly and doesn't have a distinct consistency or scent if that's something on your checklist!
I can overall recommend this to you guys if you want to try something new, and are on the lookout for a light serum to use as a base and improve the texture of your skin. I've also heard great things about the brand overall. Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe the brand is also cruelty free.
