No7 Skin Clearing Paste

By Alexa - March 08, 2021

No7 is a classic favourite brand for me, it’s so accessible for us in the UK and sold at my favourite drugstore - Boots. A product I didn’t plan on buying despite all the hype around the release, was this Clearing Paste from their Laboratories range.

I find acne based products a little too astringent for my skin so I usually stick to brightening serums and light creams but after getting more breakouts than normal, I decided to give this paste a go!

This retails for around £18 which is a decent price for a 50ml cream you apply sparingly. It’s designed to dry out spots overnight, brighten skin and reduce imperfections and it dries into a darker purple shade. You use this twice a week on areas which need the most attention and I found that the next morning my spots looked smaller and less ‘angry’ and perhaps with continued weekly use across my t-zone area I’d see the improvement in skin tone and texture.

The only downside is that the natural extracts are of a really small concentration, such as the salicylic acid and bisabol, but since there’s a lot of scientific research behind the ingredients, the official terms for the ingredients listed should give the skin equal benefit.

I love that the brand is cruelty free and you can save a lot on deals at Boots, as well as collect card points!

Xoxo
