Charles Worthington Thicker & Fuller Shampoo

By Alexa - July 11, 2020

I've been trying out new hair products recently, and one brand that has stood out over the past few year is Charles Worthington. I used to use them a lot, especially trying out the minis from Boots.

From my understanding, they are a vegan brand and came up in vegan haircare on Boots.com. This is on the higher end of drugstore brands, but one with a great reputation! I thought I'd try out a fancier shampoo to see what the difference really is, and if this can give my hair that bounce.

This retails for £6.99 for 250ml, and although the tube looks small, I imagine you can get a good month at least out of this. My hair is actually quite long and only a small dollop of this lathers up nicely, so I'd say the price is worth the quantity.

This has quite a pleasant scent as well, which is what I love about brands like this and Lee Stafford. I didn't realise it also contains small beads which burst when lathered up, maybe this is that special addition to really create some extra volume.

I've only used this a handful of times, but expect to see it in an upcoming Youtube review for my haircare routine! So far I'd say my hair looks good, definitely not greasy or flat, as sometimes I find shampoo doesn't wash out as well. It hasn't transformed my hair, but is definitely a good value product suitable to all hair types and can add a subtle difference to your roots.

I'll continue testing it out and keep you all updated.

Have you tried this?

xoxo
