A recent, perfectly aligned, discovery I made was this little gem in TK Maxx the other week - Kora Organics Noni Lip Treatment. This was on offer for £7.99 instead of the original price of £21! I also had a £10 voucher so I only paid a little extra for delivery.
I always had my eye on the brand, I knew it was sold at Space NK for example, but that is a place for luxury 'treat yourself' moments and I never quite made it round. So imagine my excitement when I saw this, it may still be available as they had two versions on offer.
Noni fruit is also an ingredient Miranda Kerr swears by, and I imagine is contained in other products by the brand. She claims this is a super fruit with tons of antioxidants and honestly, any fruit extract can do wonders for your skin! I believe her as she really is so beautiful and being in her mid-30s she could still pass for being 10 years younger.
I featured my rose quartz stone here as her products are also 'blessed' or infused with rose quartz. This is a whole different topic, but basically it has properties that invoke feelings of self love.
The consistency is a little grainy but once applied thoroughly, it blends into the lips easily and feels like a thick, moisturising layer. I leave it on overnight and it's usually on by the morning, which I don't find is the case with most lip balms.
Overall, I would recommend this if you love the brand or have very dry lips. It's not my favourite as I prefer a watery consistency as opposed to a thicker 'Vaseline' feeling, but it does the trick. It feels amazing once applied and definitely has longevity so could be good for long haul flights, however, it doesn't heal my lips from dryness the way I was hoping.
