I always try to pack light wherever I'm going, in case I buy lots of gifts or random things I don't really need but tell myself I do because when am I going to be back here?...Anyway, I like to pack just the minimal essentials in a travel size as basics like shampoo and body lotion can be purchased anywhere and I've never been fussy about those items.
I do love to go to airport Boots prior to travelling, or any drugstore, as they always have the best drugstore brands in mini sizes! Recently I've found Charles Worthington Moisture Seal to be a great range for my hair, as it adds volume and shine which is much needed in humid climates.
I believe this pair retails for about £5.50 in total and for 75ml this is quite a bargain. It's lasted me two trips, and four washes. I brought it back with me as I can't waste a good product, so I reckon I have a few uses left. This is also good for hand luggage as it's under 100ml.
Next are my skincare essentials. I narrow it down to cleansing my skin thoroughly with one product, an eye cream and some kind of face oil and serum. On this trip as I had only hand luggage, I chose a sample size Emma Hardie Brilliance Face Oil which I received in the Look Fantastic advent calendar. This was great for nighttime to replenish my skin which wouldn't be used to a different climate.
The eye cream is a bit tricky, as they usually come only in full size but this is only 25ml I believe, and my go-to No7 Lift and Luminate cream. I used this day and night as I just need some moisture under my eyes and I'm good to go.
Bringing samples with you is the best idea as you don't waste time decanting and can just throw them out abroad to save space and time with your luggage.
Have you tried any of these?
xoxo
