Botanics is a brand you'll see pop up quite often on my blog, and one I've been turning to for affordable skincare for a while! I really love finding natural, eco-friendly(friendlier..) skincare ranges which don't break my poor bank account!
Something I would normally shy away from is a thick, hydrating day cream given that my skin is oily/combination. This one is 81% organic and so I really think this makes a difference to how the skin reacts to and absorbs the product. It feels really soothing and gentle on the skin and adds a delicate glow to the skin without looking oily.
Rosehip is also a great extract for skincare as it moisturises and balances skin tone without clogging your pores. With a good powder and setting spray, using this as a base for makeup is perfect as you won't get dry patches as I used to get with a mattifying cream.
This retails for just £9.99 and I think it is worth the investment, as a pea size amount of cream is enough for the whole face so for 50ml, this will last you ages! I also haven't had any breakouts from this, despite the thick, creamy texture!
