One addition to my skincare routine this year that has been a game changer is Korean sheet masks. I used to hate the idea of putting a wet sheet over my face, one I tried from Sephora didn't fit and get bunching up so I felt like it was a total gimmick!
But, then I bought a few packs from TK Maxx, as they always stock a lot of great international brands. I don't have a favourite brand, I just go by the ingredients and description. The ones in the spotlight today are the Rael Beauty Lab Hydrolock range.
These are designed to moisturise and add a glowing hydration to the skin, perfect for autumn and the drastic change in the UK weather. I have oily skin but in the form of a sheet mask, this won't clog my pores as the essence is so light and watery it sinks in easily.
I bought these for about £4.99 for five sheets. Such a bargain! I tried to use them weekly, but I have so many masks I didn't use these religiously. But I did notice a visible difference, my skin looked calm and brighter after removing the mask.
This could be great for sensitive skin too, I didn't break out or get oily so the formula has a really great consistency! There are also a lot of great extracts and as you can see below, there aren't any nasty chemicals which also helps keep my skin calm.
