Holiday Essentials | Sunbathing

By Alexa - July 27, 2019

I had a much needed holiday recently to Malta (would you like a post dedicated to that?) and I planned what products and reading materials I'd be bringing, knowing I wanted a SUPER dark tan.

When I say super dark, I mean as much as is reasonable for the palest person I know! I knew I'd be buying an spf50 at the airport on the way there as I'm really picky about what type I use as I don't want to burn, and also need to pace myself when in the sun all day.

I love a light consistency as the greasy feeling is awful! This spray stood out, as dry mists aren't easy to find in a high spf from my experience. Garnier has great body products, but let me tell you guys, I got through this in three days.

The only downside is that with a dry mist it's hard to tell if you've covered all areas so I would re-spray after an hour to make sure it hadn't rubbed off. Other than that, I just recommend spraying outdoors and then you're good to go!

My book of choice for the first few days was Aristotle's Way by Edith Hall, a self-help philosophical read. This centres on the predominant concepts from ancient philosophy, and how Aristotle defines happiness and success in life.

It's definitely eye opening and exploring the theory of potentiality and how we each have unique potential and sources of happiness. Not the simplest of reads as I really need to focus to absorb each lesson, but definitely a fantastic choice!
