Fresh Soy Face Cleanser & No7 Cleansing Oil | Easter Treats

By Alexa - April 21, 2019

My skincare routine is something I am always attempting to curate and (much like the Sistine Chapel) will never be quite done. Ok, I'm joking with that comparison, but honestly, I am always on the lookout for immaculate new products that promise miracles for my skin.

I recently came across a 50ml tube of the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, and knew I had to try it out. I've seen loads of Youtubers and bloggers raving about this brand, and aside from the aesthetics, this really does seem like a reputable brand worth investing in.

I picked this up for £10 - a bargain given the original £11.50, plus shipping and also depending on where you purchase this from. I think the scent is very fresh and gentle, and the ingredients themselves seem very soothing for the skin. Of course, soybean extract and amino acids, amongst other extracts refresh the skin and create a perfectly clean base to apply your toners and creams.

This has a slight lather to it once wet, and glides over the skin very smoothly with little to no residue as the texture is so light it washes off straight away. I love this morning and evening, but it depends how you like to cleanse your skin.

Next up is the No7 Beautiful Skin range - the cleansing oil. I use this purely for the ease of use of an oil. I love No7 in general and this is so easy to use. I apply about 5-6 pumps (not a lot comes out) all over a damp face to melt off makeup and products. Afterwards, I need to double cleanse as this only gets the top layer but what a tough layer that is!

This has lasted me months and with only a few pumps a day, it's well worth the price. This is very similar to the super facialist cleansing oil, and is suitable for all skin types. I haven't found any irritation, however I recommend using this in the shower to wash it off more easily, as an oil can be tougher to wash off than a foaming wash.

I am only just getting started on my skincare journey (too cringe?) so stay tuned for more bursts of insight into drugstore skincare!

xoxo
