Vitamin C is an ingredient I never realised my skin needed so much, it's probably one of the best brightening ingredients. I honestly think a homemade face mask with orange extract could do the trick too. But it's easier to have a two in one face wash, exfoliator etc.
Today I have a review of how I found the Super Facialist Vitamin C Polish Wash
I immediately noticed the texture of the exfoliating beads were not rough on my skin. I am wary of harsh products which almost feel scratchy on my skin and increase the sensitivity. Overall, this has a smoothing effect on the skin, as I noticed my forehead to be much smoother.
I think this would be a good day to day wash, as it's not too harsh on the skin, but if you have sensitive or highly acne prone skin - keep this to once a week. The scent is also heavenly, an invigorating citrus scent which makes you feel even more refreshed.
This wash didn't affect breakouts, my skin remained relatively clear and with daily use over two months, I didn't have any abnormal breakouts so I imagine there are a lot of natural extracts, as opposed to harsher chemicals.
The one pitfall was the lack of change in my pores. Imperfections didn't clear up simultaneously, however, the overall texture and brightness improved. Perhaps with something like the Ola Henriksen vitamin c products, my skin would be a little more grateful!
Have you tried this?
