Vegan Biotin Gummies | Is it worth it?

By Alexa - April 11, 2021

I don’t know about you guys, but I take about 1000 supplements a day. Ok, maybe not 1,000 but my mum has always placed importance on vitamins since I’m vegan and unless I eat a balanced daily diet, they are absolutely essential to be at my healthiest. This one is more of an aesthetic supplement, for biotin and vitamin E primarily.

A brand I came across recently and wanted to try out is Pink Nutrition. They have a range of vegan-friendly gummies and supplements. The one I chose is the Biotin Beautiful gummies, for £12 (originally £15).

You get 60 per pack, which equates to about one month. I took two a day as recommended, and it honestly tasted like sweets! If they didn’t note that you shouldn’t take more than two or three per day, I would have just eaten a handful for dessert!

The annual cost to take these daily would be over £150, which is pricey if you don’t have a budget for supplements already. This also contains a large dose of vitamin E, which also supports hair, nail and skin health on top of the biotin intake.
I noticed my nails in particular looked longer and stronger after a month of use. I keep my nails quite long usually so they chip a bit and the tips often break a little, but they feel stronger and I’ve noticed they are growing evenly and have barely broken!

xoxo
