I've loved The Body Shop Banana hair mask for a long time, and thought it time to branch out into the other products in the range so my hair smells like a tropical island!
The brand itself, as you may know, is one of my favourites - affordable and good value, ethical sourcing and ingredients and natural extracts. The aesthetic is so up my street (correct phrase?) that I find myself investing in a lot of their skincare and haircare throughout the year.
Today I'm reviewing the shampoo and conditioner, which I've been using in conjunction with my other products to see if they will in fact make a difference. The range is meant for softer and shinier hair, with banana purée and silicone-free formula. I have no complaints, as I did with the strawberry range, as it really feels like a thick envelopment of nourishment on my ends!
The shampoo is quite standard, feels clean and light and washes out easily. All their products seem to lather up very easily so it's very quick and you don't need a huge amount of product. Afterwards, my hair is a bit less tangly and the next feels much less frizzy and looks to be smoother.
Overall, it seems to live up to its hype and the scent is divine, so I will definitely be returning to this in the future!
Have you tried it?
xoxo
