Botanics All Bright Hibiscus Toner | Worth the AHA?

By Alexa - February 22, 2020

I always love starting my morning routine with a light cleansing water or micellar water. I find these to be the most gentle and easiest to use in the morning when I'm half awake. For ages now I've turned to Boots Botanics cleansers for the organic ingredients and purse-friendly prices!

The one I'm loving and may continue to stick with until they release a new one, is the All Bright. This retails for just £4 so is an absolute bargain considering the ingredients! The hibiscus extract helps to brighten and soothe your skin whilst infusing a touch of AHA's exfoliating properties.

This is a massive container - 250ml - for about £4-5 it definitely compares to Clinique's toners and cleansers as well as Lancome which were nice to use but I didn't see much difference. AHA is also a huge trend recently, so it's great as a 2-in-1 to prep and freshen your face for upcoming serums to sink in more easily to the skin.

Below you'll see all the ingredients - the alcohol would be a tad drying but I haven't experience any irritation and make sure to moisturise well to compensate for the 'exfoliating' properties. If you have dry or irritable skin, maybe avoid this unless doing a pampering routine. However, my skin responds well and has looked a lot brighter since using this in conjunction with other products.

I love the ethics and vision behind the brand too, so if you like these types of products and natural brands - definitely give this a go!

xoxo
