Thicker, Healthier Hair in a Bottle? | Myth or Magic

A product which I normally wouldn't buy into, is a hair spray claiming to add moisture back into the hair. But somehow this mist from Maui Moisture was just calling my name. It's a brand I've enjoyed for a while, mainly for their natural ingredients philosophy. 

This is specially formulated with bamboo fibres which I never heard of in hair products, so of course I was intrigued. It's intended as a blow out spray/mist so you can use it prior to styling or blowdrying your hair. I just used it post shower, pre-combing and I found that worked best for me. 

It's very subtle, so you won't tell the difference right away. But the lingering scent is a light, pleasant one with a hint of the neem oil and bamboo. I didn't notice crazy volume in my hair as I focused it on the dry ends of my hair, but it definitely helped my hair feel smoother when brushing it out.

This retails for £5.99 in Boots, and for 236ml this is definitely minimal investment. I used about 3-4 sprays on each side of my hair (if that makes sense!) and then brushed it through. I had a bit of a sheen as well, although this could be attributed to other hair masks.

Overall, it's not life changing, but if you enjoy a more indulgent, longer haircare routine and have frizzy, fine hair then this could be a great addition. It's very natural so great for all hair types and doesn't contain high quantities of oil so won't weight it down at all.

I definitely saw an improvement in the ends of my hair in terms of being less frizzy and unruly, so with long term use this could be a great final step to your haircare routine.
