Something that's part of my daily routine to keep me sane includes either reading, taking a bubble bath or using essential oils and candles to indulge.
My current read, which I must admit is very easy and enjoyable, is Paper Towns by John Green. This is a teen cult favourite and John Green had me hooked from The Fault in Our Stars. You can pick any genre you like, I'd recommend something that easily gets you enthralled in the story and is somewhat uplifting. I haven't touched horror since I got completely weirded out as a kid by one of those trashy horror collections!
To go along with this, a bubble bath with your favourite products and bath bombs is so relaxing! It's a simple way to indulge and treat yourself at the end of the day. If you had a tough day physically, bath salts work a treat. I usually reach for Lush goodies or Skinny Dip and Soap and Glory as you can see below.
Finally, I have covered my favourite essential oils on my instagram and Youtube, but I am very much inclined to the 'spiritual' side of TLC. This currently includes working on chakra healing - this is a Sacral chakra candle with extracts and colour designed to work on this chakra. I can go on and on, but I will go more in depth soon about this topic!
Any candle, even Yankee Candle, is a good choice just to release a warming scent which hopefully will carry positive memories of a past experience or just make your room feel more cosy.
