After colouring my hair last year (far too spontaneously!) I decided I needed to invest in some really heavy duty hair masks to balance out the drying impact of all my hair tools/lightening products.

I find that going and maintaining blonde is the hardest change, as the bleach in most products is very drying on the lengths and for me can make for really lacklustre hair. And this is where one of my favourite hair masks comes in!

I really love The Body Shop, the ethics they uphold and the range of products is one of the best on the high street. They have any scent you could want for body and hair products, which makes it a great place to find gifts as well. With this mask I found my hair was softer and smoother after each use and it really straightened out the frizz and flyaways.

This had raving reviews online, and I can see why. The only downfall was you can only maintain the glossy effect with regular use. I found my lengths drying out again when I didn't use this. My final thoughts would be that this is a temporary fix to stubborn hair.

I do have to add that the scent was very nice and quite potent - not for the faint hearted (aka those who hate banana).
