I'm so glad it's time to break out the spring scents already. Although the UK has had that annoying 'beast from the east' storm amongst others, I'm adamant that it's time to embrace my summer wardrobe and incorporate florals back in (let's be honest, they never really left).
I've picked my top three classic scents for this upcoming season which have been a staple part of my collection.
Miss Dior Cherie L'eau
Notes: Gardenia, White muskThis is really delicate, and pleasant to wear throughout the day. I would say two spritzes is enough as Dior makes very strong perfumes and often has a mix of musky and floral to create more opulent scents. But overall this is really feminine and the floral notes add a sweet base/top note which overpowers any 'darker' notes.
Signorina
Notes: Currant, pink pepper, jasmine, pink peonyI love this one so much! I think I'll wear it to work next week as it's such a sophisticated and energetic scent. The peony makes it more muted at first spray but base notes of a softer, musky scent make it a little more exciting and grown up. This is ideal for dates, meetings or special occasions. I also love the bottle, which is what first attracted me to it.
Green Tea
Notes: Amber, green tea, jasmineThis has a wide range of notes and a few citrusy and herbal base notes. These combined make for a really refreshing and on-the-go type of scent. For a quick morning spritz or daytime refresher, I love this. It's very youthful and nothing too fancy so I imagine anyone who isn't opposed to citrus notes will like it too!
Have you tried these?
