Current Skincare Favourites

Today I'm putting the spotlight on a few of my favourite products - all perfect for the winter to spring transition! To my knowledge, all three are vegan and have been very highly reviewed.

First up is Super Facialist Vitamin C Serum which has been my go-to in mornings as a base under my moisturiser. I feel like this will gradually even out my skin tone and just a bit of brightening moisture to my skin, much needed at the moment! The brand is marketed as vegan and cruelty-free so a great choice for trying out a higher end drugstore brand and also has 5 star reviews on Boots!

I definitely noticed a slight improvement in texture and I haven't had any redness on my nose or cheeks following this, definitely a great vitamin c extract without overloading your skin.

Second product is one I use again in the morning - The Ordinary Azelaic Acid. I won't waffle on about the science behind this but it's meant to brighten and even skin and add in some much needed vitamins. It has a very light silicone-y texture so if you have dry and irritated skin I'd steer clear. It does leave an amazing matte base though and works well with other products layered underneath.

I've noticed an improvement in acne and remnants of blemishes being reduced. The one thing to be cautious of is not to mix loads of The Ordinary products together as they may not react well, and to wear sunscreen as this acidic product can make your skin more susceptible to sunday's.

Finally, the No7 eye cream from their Youthful range is a great morning and evening choice for all ages - feels light and sinks in easily and targets lines and dry skin. Seems to also be a great choice for sensitive skin as I haven't experienced any dryness.

Have you tried these?

xoxo
