Boots Collagen Sheet Mask

By Alexa - January 19, 2020

I've developed quite the dependency on sheet masks lately, as I'm always on the lookout for products to keep me looking 25 forever (haha). I'm almost 26 now and that's still very young, I know, but I think starting early is better than investing in treatments later.

Having said that spiel, I do try to limit it to a budget - aka the drugstore. I love Korean sheet masks but they cost a fortune here in the UK. Even the Boots sold ones are about £4-5 a pop. That's too expensive for me to use weekly imo.

So I tested out the Boots brand ones, as the ingredients list looked very legit! The only one I've tested so far is this collagen one which caught my eye as I wanted to see if it would in fact plump my skin. These go for just £1.50 so seem a tad untrustworthy for a sheet mask, minus the Korean technology, but I was pleasantly surprised.

It was one of those soothing masks that feels gentle during application and afterwards your skin just feels 'neutral'. So it wasn't a miracle mask, but it seems great for sensitive skin as my skin looked a bit brighter and calmer. I think with continued use, it can have anti-ageing effects but for me it was more of an extra step to pamper my skin and improve the texture.

The essence is the same consistency as Korean masks, and the scent is very delicate so really no complaints. You can't go wrong for a quick pamper with this cheap choice as my skin wasn't red at all (even on my sensitive cheeks) and looked a little more refreshed.

Have you tried this?

xoxo
