The second and final advent calendar Ive indulged in this year is the M&S 'The Gift of Beauty'. Its definitely quite a sophisticated one and I can see they've catered to their target audience rather than follow the hype trends.
Nonetheless, this is one impressive calendar! Ive picked out the first, last and best full size items to show you guys so read on:
I was so impressed (as you'd see in my unboxing on youtube) with day 1 - the Aveda Damage Remedy cream. I've used it a few times so stay tuned for my full review but it smells very fresh and feels so delicate on the ends.
Next is a Philip Kingsley product, the Body Building shampoo, which is an impressive 75ml. This comes in most calendars and gift sets, as Philip Kinglsey is a cult favourite brand so Look Fantastic gave us a product too!
The boxes were a little confusing and hard to put back or throw away (for recycling!) as they products are mostly sample size but in huge boxes. I wish they'd designed the shape a little better, but the goodies inside definitely make up for it!
These include Ren, Skyn and quite a few own-brand items. This is great for marketing, but I have yet to test them out. I do trust M&S as a brand generally though.
