The Body Shop Aloe Night Cream

The summer heat has really hit London now, and despite feeling like I'm in a permanent sauna, I've been using a face cream morning and night!

The one I had my eye on for a while (read: was gathering dust in my obscene skincare cupboard) was The Body Shop Aloe Night Cream. This cream is definitely lightweight enough to use during this time of the year, especially at night, when it's perfectly alright to douse our faces in oils, serums and creams.

I picked up the 50ml jar, which I believe is the standard for all their face creams. I read a lot of good reviews online and as this is suited for sensitive skin, I didn't think it would break me out at all. It feels lightweight when you first apply, it doesn't have the heavy or oily texture some night creams do. That's why I think it's great for transitioning to a new season.

I use a pea size amount for my whole face, as I use serums prior to this, I don't need to add too much moisture AND this sinks in so dreamily that a little goes a long way.

I think if you have combination skin or are prone to redness and dry cheeks, this would really help calm your skin down. This morning my skin looked glowier, and almost like I'd just returned from a relaxing face massage - plump and brighter.

This would be great too after a holiday, when your skin is that beautiful lobster shade (if you're pale like me!)

As you guys may well know, this is one of my go-to brands as they are cruelty free and have a huge range for every skin type and the reviews are usually really favourable. The price point considering there are a lot of natural extracts as the basis of the products, is really reasonable so I highly recommend the brand.
