One of my favourite parts of London for as long as I can remember, has been Covent Garden. It's an eclectic hub of British culture and European design. Not only is everything there insta-worthy, but it has such an exciting energy. One area I hadn't explored until recently was Neal's Yard Square.
This is a beautiful picturesque square in the heart of Covent Garden, with very Dutch sensibilities. I love the colour and vibrancy, despite the gloomy skies overhead!
Another love of mine, is vegan and healthy cafes. They offer a much more diverse menu and vibe than typical chain restaurants and once in a while, I like to treat myself to a "health cleanse" as I like to call it.
Wild Food Cafe is definitely on my list to return to, everything seemed to be consciously chosen for the menu, with all natural and eco-friendly ingredients. If this is something you are mindful of, I would highly recommend this place.
But do get there early on a weekend!
Even the water was extremely filtered and ph-balanced! I love such attention to detail, as I feel like the establishment cares a little more and puts in that extra effort.
We also ordered a health shot, this one I believe was made with turmeric, ginger and other very healthy extracts. However, this tasted a bit like curry sauce, so definitely one to take in one go as a shot!
This is the kind of buddha bowl I love, as it's got every colour of the rainbow and a multitude of flavours so you can mix each section in together. This had vine tomatoes, sweet potato chips, red cabbage and quite a few other ingredients which had a subtle taste. This was quite a delicate brunch, but I liked trying something different and a little lighter.
I hope you guys get a chance to visit here one day too, as it really is a lovely part of London, and quite secluded from the bustling high streets.
xoxo
