Today's review is an oldie but a goodie, I've been saving this review for a while, as I used this oil last year but the effects are definitely still visible.
The Botanics Rosehip Oil is from one of my favourite brands at Boots - a mostly organic, vegan range with lots of natural extracts. The brand collaborated with Botanical Gardens at Kew Gardens, if I'm correct, so it's all very plant based.
This was my go-to night oil for a while - after double cleansing and applying a toning serum to prevent acne, I would rub this into my skin, allowing a few minutes for it to sink in. This retails for £11 but can often be found on offer. I would say this is worth the full price, as a few drops applied with the dropper is more than enough for an application.
Rosehip is best for lightening blemishes, so any acne scars or imperfections causing discolouration will gradually be lightened. This is packed with other goodness to keep your skin smooth. I didn't break out using this, but be careful how many products you use and make sure to cleanse thoroughly so your pores don't get clogged.
If you have oily or dry skin, this could work well for you - you can lighten it by mixing it in with a day moisturiser if you prefer but I found the next morning my skin looked so supple after using this. Definitely a good pick me up product!
Will you try it?
xoxo
