This is a palette I've just featured in an upcoming haul video, so keep an eye out for that exciting unpacking video on my channel. I'm a sucker for pretty packaging, as many other beauty influencers are I'm sure, so this brand is one of my cult favourites!
This is the new Subculture palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills, which retails for £43.
The shade selection is what you'd expect from a high end brand - well chosen shades to complement one another but diverse enough to make it a worthwhile purchase. I most like the green and mauve shades as they would suit my green eyes and add a darker smoky shade to the lids.
You get a nice mix of transition shades which can be blended together - for example the New Wave would go well with Fudge on the outer corner or with Adorn on the outer half to add a warmer, darker shade to the eyes. As you can see there are so many possibilities so I think it's time I catch up on my youtube tutorials!
I love this velvet packaging, much like the Modern Renaissance palette, this is a more fun and vibrant addition to the collection but with equally beautiful packaging. Below I've pictured the swatches:
I've applied the swatches back to front; right to left match the shades in the palette from left to right. Starting with Cube and ending with Rowdy. The best payoff thankfully is from the dark shades - the green, yellow and brown have a really thick application and won't need much layering or blending, so these transition shades in-between will do the trick!
Have you tried the palette?
xoxo
