The Body Shop Juicy Pear Range

An OG favourite brand of mine is The Body Shop and I recently picked up a few pieces from their summer sale. The first of which I'm reviewing today, the Juicy Pear Body Lotion. This is from their classic body butter range which retail for about £12 for 200ml and this was on sale for £6 - always love their 50% discounts! I was intrigued to see what this smelled like as I've never tried this range and a sweet summery scent is always a nice pick me up in the evenings.




The packaging is always aesthetically pleasing and of course, their eco-friendly approach and cruelty-free lines are a major bonus. This doesn't smell exactly like pear but maybe there are different scents for varying types of pears?! It was nonetheless sweet and fruity so would recommend this as a gift.

The consistency is the same as all other body butters, and it blended into the skin smoothly and quickly. They never leave a sticky residue or have an overly thick texture, so I even use this during the really hot days.



I'd recommend this if you're a fan of The Body Shop and have dry skin as they feel so smooth and buttery, as you'd expect. Overall, I'd give this a 8/10 as it wasn't the scent I expected but I love the texture of these butters and how they sink into my skin.



I'll review the rest of my range from this brand if you're interested. I love anything with vitamin c to brighten my skin and tea tree to smooth out imperfections.
